Four Lanning of Sangli – Solapur (Package – III: Watambare to Mangalwedha) Section of NH – 166 from existing Ch. Km 272.394 to Ch. Km 314.969 (Design Ch. Km 276.000 to Ch. Km 321.600) of length 45.600 Km in the State of Maharashtra on Hybrid Annuity.
The Project starts from Watambre and passes through Sangola and ends at Mangalwedha. The alignment traverses through the rich Horticultural Fields throughout the entire length.
The climatic condition of the district is generally hot and dry and temperature ranges between 32°C to 45°Cduring April to June and winters, temperature remains in the comfortable 18°C – 30°C during December to March.
Total length of the Project i.e. NH-166 joining Watambare town with Mangalwedha is 45.600 km and total Project cost set forth in financial package as per clause 23.1 of Article 23 is 957 Cr. The LOA for the project was signed on 23rd March 2018 and Agreement was signed on 20th June 2018.
